For the love of food and Toronto, I plan to eat my way through this city. I’m not a professional, just someone who rolls out of bed and instantly starts planning my day around food. I figured the best way to channel this obsession is to share the great (and not so great) things that I eat in this city. I named this blog after two of my favorite ingredients: salt, which as my friends and family know, I am obsessed with and sprinkle liberally on everything; and saffron, a spice that I grew up with in the Middle East, and that features in some of my favorite comfort foods.
